Union Public Service Commission
The UPSC is a Govt set up organization regulated by Govt of india its headquartered is situated in New Delhi and regulated through its own secretariat under GOI. The Respected Pradeep Kumar Joshi became the new Chairman of UPSC in August 2020.The UPSC was earlier Established on 1 -10- 1926 as Public Service Commission, of india it was laterly re--constituted as Federal Public Service Commission of india by the Govt. of India Act 1935 after that it again renamed as Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) after the independence of india 15 Aug 1947.
The Function of UPSC
As per the Art. 320 of constitution it is the duty of the Union Public Service Commissions (UPSC) to conduct the civil service examinations and all other for appointments to the administrative services of the country. the examination will be given below

Constitutional status of UPSC
Articles 315 - 323 of Part __ of the constitution of india it is titled as Services Under the Union & the States of india , provided for a Public Service Commission for the Centre and for each states of country
According to as per Article 315 at the Union level the Union Public Service Commission is added by it. UPSC is the only department which is Regulated by both Autonomy and Freedom along with the india's higher Judiciary & the Election Commission
Appointment of Chairman&Member UPSC
As per the Article 316, the Chairman and all members of Union Public Service Commission upsc shall be appointed by the President of india . In any case the office of the Chairman of upsc becomes vacant than the duties shall be performed by any one of the other members of the UPSC as the President may appoint such member for the purpose.
◆ As per Art 319, A person who become Chairman shall be ineligible for reappointment to that office. But A member of the Union Public Service Commission will be eligible for appointment as the new Chairman of the Union Public Service Commission upsc (or) as the Chairman of a State Public Service Commission,
Removal and suspension of Chairmain and Member of UPSC
As per the Art. 317of constitution The Chairman and any other member of a Union Public Service Commission can be removed from the office by the order of President on the basis ground report of "misbehaviour" after that the Supreme Court on reference made to it by the President has on inquiry reported that the Chairman or such member cought to be removed.
•The President may also suspend the Chairman or the other member of the UPSC until report from the Supreme Court is received
•The President may also remove the Chairman and the other member of the upsc if he||she||they::is||are adjudged an insolvent or engaged during the their term of office in any paid office outside during the duties of their office or is||are, depend on the opinion of the President can unfit to continue in the office by the reason of infirmity of mind or body of member
•The Chairman and the other members cannot hold an office for profit if someone found than they shall be deemed as guilty of .
